The CNCCS (Collezione Nazionale Composti Chimici e Centro Screening) a joint venture between the National Research Council (CNR), the Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS) and IRBM Science Park, operates in the field of translational biomedical research and in the IV edition, for the International Prize “Bioeconomy Rome” 2014, announces 6 research awards of ten thousand dollars each ($ 10,000), in order to promote scientific excellence of young researchers / innovators in the field of Neurodegenerative Diseases.

The purpose of the Bioeconomy Rome Prize is to reward researchers who have carried out innovative research and have produced scientific results with a potential socio-economic impact.

Applicants must submit their application online by filling out the appropriate form, the statement of notoriety and upload the documents in the section candidacy which contains modules for the presentation of the documentation and other useful information.

The award ceremony will take place on November 14, following the conference on Neurodegenerative Diseases held at the Auditorium of IRBM Science Park on November 13, at the Salone delle Feste of the Quirinale where the President of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano will deliver the prizes to the winners.
